It is always a lot of fun meeting up with Ravi Punjabi Managing Director of Avalon General Land Transport especially to present their carbon reduction saving certificate for the work we jointly delivered with A.P. Moller Maersk for Nestlé. The UAE is a net importer and therefore running all HGV container transport on 100% biodiesel is a fantastic effort towards full decarbonization.

The on site biodiesel refuelling station at DAA has been a real game changer in terms of educating the students on the importance of reducing our carbon footprint in all aspects of education, including our transportation to and from campus. Many thanks to Steve Burnell for spearheading this initiative.

Visiting the Dubai World Trade Centre again and feeling the buzz of activity as events and shows once again return to fill this venue, is an exciting moment. A few years ago Neutral Fuels ran a series of pioneering projects at GEMS Wellington International School in Dubai. Last week, we revisited GEMS WIS to celebrate their 2021 carbon savings of 54,463 kg CO2e, thanks to their transport provider, STS, choosing to use biodiesel.

Now covering seven Dubai based schools and dispensed from three dedicated on site biodiesel refuelling stations, the efficiency and environmental benefits of this initiative continue to accrue.

ServeU provides hundreds of professional staff in support of many of the EXPO pavilions and they all travel on the company’s own staff transportation fleet powered by Neutral Fuels biodiesel. In such a competitive market, being able to offer clients an environmentally sustainable solution is a real differentiator. EXPO 2020 has had more than 15 million visitors and we are all very proud to be part of the sustainable aspect of this major event.
